The Author Story

Ever since he was young, Zachary Palmer has enjoyed fantasy. Whether its urban fantasy, dystopian, high, epic, dark, Lovecraftian, historical, steampunk, low, he has devoured all kinds.

He attempted writing his first novel in second grade. A stunning fifteen pages (most of them pictures) and with the original title The Book, he has enjoyed creative writing ever since he can remember. Now, almost two decades later, he is publishing his debut novel, The King's Labyrinth. A fantasy novel inspired by the likes of Harry Potter, Mistborn, and The Licanius Trilogy, it is the first installment of a planned trilogy, with a magic system based off of magical architecture.

The King's Labyrinth

In the world of Xelea, architecture has the capacity for changing the very fabric of reality. Slowing down time, making someone fall in love with you, even showing you the future, anything you can imagine is possible in these Rooms. Those who build these Rooms are called architects, priest-enchanters who have a monopoly on the designs for these Rooms.

Matthias is a fake architect being used to accredit a local quarry, until he and his friends are framed for a crime they didn't commit. To save themselves he must guide his friends through the most terrifying amalgamation of Rooms ever created. The Labyrinth Eterna.

Through there journey he discovers more about the state of his kingdom, his friends, himself, and those who would destroy them all.
